ABOUT

Individual commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.

~ Vince Lombardi

At Polarity Consulting we specialize in facilitating Teams. For the past 15 years, we have developed a method that amongst others has helped a Dutch team win an Olympic gold medal. It is called  The Power of Polarities and we have published a book with the same title

In business, just like in sports, it is ultimately the human factor that makes the difference. Working together as a team is critical for the success of your organization.

We base our programs on the foundational principles of The Power of Polarites.
Polarities are intended to harmonize, not  polarize

po·lar·i·ty the state of having two opposite and interdependent tendencies, e.g. "the polarity between man and woman"

Uniting people with all their differences around a common purpose is critical to being a successful team, as our work with championship teams has shown. Succesful teams become stronger under pressure, they pull together and harmonize. Unsuccessful teams tend to polarize, fall apart and disintegrate under pressure.

At Polarity Consulting we believe a group of people functioning as a team can achieve anything they want. The words of Steve Jobs below illustrate the power of a team:

My model for business is The Beatles. They balanced each other and the total was greater than the sum of the parts. That's how I see business: great things in business are never done by one person, they're done by a team of people.

~ Steve Jobs
